DESIGN AND MARKETING INTERNSHIP

At my internship with LakePharma, a B2B pharmaceutical company, I worked with a team of scientists and marketing professionals to develop a website and brand for Hybridoma.com. Hybridoma.com is a micro-site off of the the main LakePharma company website. Visit the link at hybridoma.com

Goal: Promote and educate potential clients on LakePharma's hybridoma services with a new website brand for hybridoma.com.

Brand Design

I designed the new Hybridoma and PentaMice logos, working through many iterations of design feedback from my team members and executive stakeholders.

Some takeaways during the design process:

Learning how to negotiate and compromise on various design directions based on existing brand constraints, such as using Muli or Proxima Nova as the logo type
Logo design is about iterating through and improving many versions of a design based on different preferences of multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities: PM, Design, Developer

Managed project timeline and priorities using a gantt chart
Created designs, illustrations, and graphics using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and homepage animation using Adobe Premiere and After Effects
Solo developer of hybridoma.com, using Wordpress, HTML, and CSS for desktop and mobile

Beyond designing and implementing hybridoma.com, I also created several forms of graphic content.

A major part of my role was to create new graphic assets of scientific models, workflows, flyers, and other diagrams, as well as coming up with creative ways to illustrate specific concepts.
Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign

Motion Design

To plan the two projects, I worked with stakeholders and scientists to write the script and create a storyboard
Although I was limited by the types of equipment and resources I had access to, I was able to correct most filming and videography issues through post-production editing
Currently, I am working on producing two more promotional videos for the company
